Our Story

In the wake of 2020, when the world slowed down and uncertainty filled the air, we found solace in the soil. What started as a small garden in a neglected yard on the North Shore of Staten Island quickly grew into a thriving green space. Over two years, we nurtured vegetables, flowers, and fruit, adding bees and chickens along the way. The garden became more than just a place to grow food—it became a sanctuary, a source of resilience, and a reminder of nature’s incredible ability to heal.

But like all things, change was inevitable. When we had to move, we lost the garden that had become our home. It was a difficult transition, but sometimes, endings pave the way for even greater beginnings.

Luck was on our side. We landed a lease on the oldest continually running farm in New York City—a piece of living history where generations before us had worked the land. In 2023, we began again, this time with deeper roots and bigger dreams. Now, as we step into our third growing season in 2025, we are more committed than ever to sustainable agriculture, community connection, and sharing the joy of growing food with others.

Our journey is one of resilience, adaptation, and passion for the land. From a backyard plot to a historic farm, our story is proof that with dedication and a little bit of luck, growth is always possible.
