Originally from Seattle, I discovered my passion for the outdoors at a young age while gardening with my mom. These cherished moments in the soil fostered a deep appreciation for nature that would shape my life. In addition to cultivating plants, I spent countless hours hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, where my love for the natural world blossomed further.

During the challenges of relocating to New York City amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I reawakened my gardening passion. I embraced small urban spaces and turned them into vibrant green sanctuaries. My journey has been a beautiful reminder of the peace that gardening brings and the connection it creates between people and nature.

Short Bio:

I am a passionate gardener and nature enthusiast who grew up hiking and fishing in the mountains of Colorado. My journey continued in the PNW, where the outdoors continued to feed my happiness, even if it was in nurturing flowers on my balcony. Now, I am thrilled to contribute to the creation of a beautiful farm and garden in New York City, where I can share my love for plants and foster a vibrant community connection through nature.

I identify as an indoor person. I hate being dirty and is susceptible to sunburns, but am somehow glad to spend whole days sweaty and filthy in the garden. I look forward to enjoying many tomatoes with good friends this season.

Garden Leadership

Elizabeth grew up in California, home of incredible orchards and farms. She still has fond memories of working on the farm and garden at her elementary school. She is happy to have rediscovered gardening and the outdoors as an adult.
